From monitoring vitals to hands-on help with patient mobility, hygiene, and feeding, we prepare you to start an entry-level job in 8 to 10 weeks. The program is free and open to community members.

Eligibility Requirements

Be 18 years or older or be accepted into an Introduction to Healthcare Employment and Apprenticeship Programs (IHAP) program for high schoolers
Have a high school diploma or GED
Be approved to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Pass a background check
Be proficient in English (ESL Level 5) with basic computer skills
Have computer and internet access (Support options may be available if you do not have them.)

Required Immunizations

COVID (2 shots) and booster if possible
3 series Hep B (Hepatitis B) plus blood draw titer
2 series MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
2 series Varicella (Chicken Pox)
2 series Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis)
Seasonal flu shot
