Why Train with IHAP?

  • Quicker professional growth

This 4-week program (81 hours of instruction) prepares you for entry-level service and technician roles in hospitals and clinics. You will learn about careers in allied health. Once you graduate, our navigators can assist you in finding a job and guide you toward our other entry-level offerings like NA-C (Nursing Assistant – Certified) training or more advanced career programs like our apprenticeships.

  • Discover our apprenticeships

Apprenticeships start with a job – you earn a paycheck while you learn at work and get free college credit. Our apprenticeships range from one to two years in duration, and spots are in high demand. IHAP graduates get preferential placement.

  • Ready when you are

IHAP sessions are offered quarterly by the Healthcare Training Fund and our partner organizations in King and Pierce Counties.

“This program is changing lives. I’m proud of programs like [IHAP], because they help us prepare for the future. If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s how much we depend on having adequate capacity in our healthcare system.”
